Chinese Language Program (CLPs)
Arizon is proud to offer a comprehensive Chinese Language Program designed to develop students' proficiency in Mandarin Chinese from foundational to advanced levels. Our program aims to equip students with the language skills and cultural understanding necessary for communication and engagement in Chinese-speaking communities worldwide. Here's an overview of the Chinese Language Program across levels 1 to 12.

Level 1-3 (Beginner)
In Levels 1 to 3, students are introduced to the fundamentals of Mandarin Chinese. They learn basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structures through interactive activities, games, and songs. Instruction focuses on developing listening and speaking skills, with an emphasis on proper tones and pronunciation.
Level 4-6 (Elementary)
In Levels 4 to 6, students continue to build their language proficiency with a focus on reading and writing. They expand their vocabulary, learn more complex sentence patterns, and practice reading and writing Chinese characters. Instruction includes basic grammar concepts, sentence construction, and comprehension strategies.
Level 7-9 (Intermediate)
In Levels 7 to 9, students’ progress to more advanced language tasks and communication activities. They develop their reading comprehension skills through a variety of texts, including short stories, articles, and essays. Writing instruction focuses on paragraph development, composition writing, and creative expression. Speaking and listening skills are further developed through discussions, presentations, and role-plays.
Level 10-12 (Advanced)
In Levels 10 to 12, students refine their language proficiency to an advanced level. They engage with authentic texts, analyze complex ideas, and express their opinions fluently in both written and spoken forms. Writing instruction includes advanced composition skills, argumentative essays, and research projects. Speaking and listening activities challenge students to communicate effectively in academic, professional, and social contexts.
