ARIZON SCHOOL

History

ARIZON SCHOOL formerly New York International School (NYIS) was founded by Dr. Chea Sokheang on July 8, 1996 — the time when the Government of Cambodia called for the contribution to the Private Educational Sector from the investors. Originally, the school was named ‘New York Center.’ Later, in 1999, due to the development of the school, its name was changed to ``New York Institute``, and in 2004, it was renamed as ``New York International School``. And the last in 2017 was known as ARIZON SCHOOL according to Prokas (Official Announcement) from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport. ARIZON SCHOOL is the member of AG Education.

Vision

Arizon School is the first school that offers Trilingual Curriculum (Khmer, English and Chinese Curriculum) from kindergarten to grade 12th in which STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and mathematics) is prioritized. Moreover, the school also offers National Curriculum, Singapore Curriculum, English Language Programme, and Chinese Language Programme from Kindergarten to grade 12th.

Accreditations

Arizon School (AS) is officially accredited by The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) in The Kingdom of Cambodia. AS students undertake the Cambodian National Examinations in grades 6, 9, and 12, and thus will possess a Cambodian Graduation Certificate upon Completion.

Access to industry expertise and resources is vital to the success of our partnership, and through close relationships within organizations, we can offer substantial experiential learning opportunities to students and staff.

School tours: access to the workplace through internships, work experience, classroom tours, or even a virtual tour would greatly enhance teaching.

Links to subject experts or specialists: guest speakers, clients for projects, support with research, and class or individual mentors. Funding: Sponsor of our partnership events, such as branding events, etc.
